“Glamour is about feeling good in your own skin.” – Zoe Saldana

Neem Leaf is an essential ingredient in many Ayurveda medicines to cure skin problems. They are very good in treating chickenpox because of its anti- fungal and anti- bacterial properties. Neem has the benefits of Vitamin C which helps in getting rid of various skin problems like pigmentation, blackheads, dullness and ageing thus leaving the skin with a youthful glow.

1. Prevent Recurrence of blackheads:

If you have a very sensitive skin and suffer from blackheads, dilute neem oil with water and apply it over the blackheads. Make sure you just apply only 2 to 3 drops of neem oil. Neem trees are common around most of the houses, so finding neem leaves won’t be a big task. Following these steps regularly will help you get rid of blackheads and also prevent them from coming back in the future.

2. Clears Acne & Dark Pigmentation:

Take a bowl and boil about 20 neem leaves in ½ a litre of water till the leaves are soft and transformed in colour. Wait till the water turns green. Strain and store the liquid in a bottle. Use the liquid as the skin toner by just dipping a cotton ball into it and wiping your face with it every night before you go to bed. Using this liquid will help you clear acne, blackheads, pigmentation and scars.

3.Treat Skin Allergies and Infections

Boil the neem leaves & apply the water on the allergy after refrigerating it so that it cools down. Neem has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that help in soothing the skin in case you are suffering from some skin allergy or infection.

4. Control excess oils:

Oil skin results in various skin diseases. So to get rid over it, let’s find a solution with the help of neem leaves. Make a paste by mixing neem powder with lemon juice and a little bit of yogurt. This will not only control the excess oil but also prevent acne and infections.

5.Vanquish dry skin:

Neem helps in getting rid of dryness of skin without making too oily thus giving a very balanced effect. Mix neem powder with some water and few drops of grape seed oil and apply it to your face. Just feel the difference in a short period of time.

Neem leaf can be easily used at home to treat various skin problems. So I suggest you to do it yourself so natural than to spend more on various skin creams and body lotions.
